Colin Leakey

Colin was born in 1933 in Cambridge to Louis Leakey and Frida (Louis’s first wife). He has spent many years in Uganda.

Colin lives with his wife Susan in Lincolnshire in England and had three daughters, Emma, Tessa and Tamsin.

Colin is passionate about food and nutrition in general but has focussed much of his energy into plant breeding, much of which he does in a field behind his home.
